Australasia

Australasia is probably the most visited continent by gap year students and long term travellers. Most regions are considered to have very low risks of Malaria but there are some such as the Soloman islands that are high risk and you would need to take Malaria prevention tablets. Our team will be able to provide you with all the information you need!

The risks to health whilst travelling will vary between individuals and many issues need to be taken into account, e.g. activities abroad, length of stay and general health of the traveller. It is recommended that you consult with us 6-8 weeks in advance of travel. We will assess your particular health risks before recommending vaccines and /or antimalarial tablets.

We can also give you important information on travel health issues including safe food and wateraccidentssun exposure and insect bites. Many of the problems experienced by travellers cannot be prevented by vaccinations and other preventive measures need to be taken.
